Of the 2,717 Silver Cloud IIs produced, only 258 were built to long-wheelbase specification. Tootsie is one of them.
Delivered new to an Australian solicitor, eventually traded by a Jewish family in Melbourne for a Volvo. Acquired by Always Classic Cars in 2000 and reupholstered.
The long-wheelbase Silver Cloud II is arguably the finest expression of 1960s Rolls Royce design. The standard car already had excellent proportions, but the added length gives the rear passenger compartment a grandeur that was typically reserved for Phantom-class cars. Tootsie is one of the most sought-after cars in the fleet for formal wedding cortèges.
